Theory in a Nutshell

Cognitivism is a learning theory based on the way humans process information in their brains. Major theorists of this learning style point out that brain activities and connections between information occur, independently of stimuli. For example, someone learning to swim may come up with a great story idea, which has nothing to do with either swimming or pools.
